What is the
Internet?
Think of the
"Internet" as a combination of the BEST features of
television and print media all linked to your telephone or
cable system. Although, you can "watch" television and
"read" newspapers or magazines, it can be expensive to actively "participate" in the delivery process necessary to
"share" information. The Internet offers that ability for a
fraction of the cost. |
Why Should I Be On
The Internet?
Some say that the Internet
is too vast to achieve a "quality" presence on the
Internet. |
Who's on the
Internet?
This may sound like a tired answer, but Who Isn't! As we search ("surf") the Internet, one fact sticks out. Everybody who's anybody and nobody has a "Web Presence". Small mom & pop shops, Uncle Joe's TV repair, ALL Fortune 500 businesses, Grandma's Quilt Shop and countless others have a Web Site. (Latest estimate is 2,600,000 reaching 20-30 MILLION potential visitors!!!) And it's easier and less costly than a TV spot or print ad |
How Do I Get On The
Internet?
Just within the last 12-18
months, the cost for "Internet Access" has dropped from a
limited number of hours for a specified fee with additional
hourly rates to unlimited access with a flat fee. And, most
Internet Service Providers offer a web site as part of their
Incentive Packages. There are also over 30,000 locations for
"free web sites" all over the Internet. It appears that the
"future is here" and there is no excuse for NOT being on the
Internet! |
